You've found our class blog! The first post that I want you to complete should discuss your time management project. Make sure you include:

1. Your observations about your time management from your tracking
2. List your short-term goal for the week that you tracked and it's effect on your time management
3. Discuss if you accomplished this goal, and if you had to make any adjustments to the goal.

  1. On the behalf of the time management project, It has gave me the opportunity to manage my time in a more effective way. In addition, It has also established consistency in me by having to constantly pay attention to how I'm managing my time daily. Consquently, to prevent crampage with my daily rountine, I had plan to use time on the weekend more effectively.As a Result, I havn't accomplished this goal. Having to interact with my personal and social life on weekends its complicated to plan events during this time of my life.Although I havn't completed it, I'm still in progress in completing my goal. Once this goal is accomplished, this will allow me to be more lenient to scheduling events throughout the week, which will allow me to have more free time during the week.

  2. My time management project has showed me that I need to stop sleeping so much because it is bad for my health. I also noticed that i do not study as much as I should because I am always hanging out with my friends. My short-term goal was to make it to all of my classes and on time. I accomplished my goals for last week. Im going to see if I can maintain that and make it to all of my classes this week. One thing that I did accomplish was I continued to call and make time for my child, Elisha Waller. Im going to try and keep up the good work.

  3. The time management has helped me to see where most of my time is spent. I observed that I spend to much time on the computer, surfing the web, than i spend studying. Therefore, my short term goal was to spend less time on the Internet and more time studying so that I could catch up in all my classes. I have accomplished this goal because I only surf the web for a small amount of time and the other times I'm on the Internet, its for my classes. I can also say that I have been studying more and I have successfully caught up in my other classes.

  4. My time management has been going good. I have leaned how to spend my time in better places doing better things. I set a short-term goal to start study more then i go to the club. After i looked at my problem and was able to change my ways about how i study and it has been going well for the past week now. I study more and I feel im ready for my classes and my test now. In all I think that looking at how are time is spent is a good thing and can help a lot of people get on track.

  5. The Time management Project was a good way for myself to see what I spend most of my time doing. I now see that I certainly sleep way too much and also work too much. I did set a goal, to study more for the time that I had free. By doing so, I was able to make A's on all the test that I had to take the following week. This is really good for people who are not good at organization.

  6. My time management has showed me that i spent all my time sleeping and that's not good for anyone. I set a goal to attend all my classes and to study more because that's something that i really didn't do. Now i'm going to all my classes and I'm studying for whatever class I need to study for.

  7. I observed that I spend a lot of time sleeping and socializing from my time management tracking forms. I could probably utilize that time better by studying and preparing for my classes. My short goals include sleeping less, studying more, and learning to how to spend my time better. I haven't accomplished this goal yet, but I can working to do so. I plan on creating a schedule for my day and recording my assignments and things to do so that I can keep up with it better.

My time management has shown me what I need to work on and do less of.The short-term goal I set for myself this week is to set limitation on socializing,watching tv, working,sleeping.I have accomplished some of goals and I'm working on the rest. I now use and alarm clock on my cellphone to help my use my time wisely.

  9. I have come to realize that the Time Management has contributed in showing me that you should never slack in making your time useful. I have put forth an effort to study each day after class. This is a positive way for me to comprehend what i've learned. I still have time for family and some outside activities (YMCA) Church and small socializing. I will strive to reach each goal. My main goal is to be more studious. I will stay focused on being consistent to studying and making all A's.

With my Time Management Project I have learned how to keep track of my time and how to evenly use my time to study, to socialize and hang out and with this I should never have to worry about falling behind. One of my short term goals for this wk is study more instead of watching t.v so much. I feel as if I can accomplished this goal by cutting the amount of t.v I watch during the wk, and finding a quiet place to go to study. This wk I feel as if I should of studied a little more than I did, so for this wk I should focus more on studying than anything else.

  11. The time management assingnment made me aware of the fact that I spend the majority of my time with friends or in the bed sleeping and not enough time on my work. After witnessing how much time I waste, I set a goal to not to spend as much time with my friends and to put more time and effort into my work for a week. i manage to accomplish more work than I have ever done before and I still managed to spend time with my friends after I was finish with my work.

  13. Through the time management project, I realized exactly where most of my time goes, sleep. Once I actually saw it, I was determined to make better use of my time. I set a goal to study more during the week, atleast once a day. As I studied more, it became obvious that less of my time was going to sleep. I also began to do better in my classes as a result of my goal.

  14. Time Management and Short Term Goal

    Time management comes easly to me, for the simple fact that I'm not a very active person, at the moment. So far my time is spent in class, studying, and practicing in Choir, as non of which is spent a lot of time accomplishing. Right now, I'm not sastisfied with my health. My short term goal is to go to the gym for 2hr. twice a week to get myself into shape.

  15. The time management sheet has really helped me put my hours down on paper so i can physically see where i am as far as my school work goes. Since making my first time sheet, I have seen my grades rise, i am going to bed at a more reasonable hour, and I also spend more time studying. For my short term goal, I want to continue to attend all of my classes regularly, and also begin to work out again, and get back into shape.

The time management project was really helpful in so many ways.The project made me realize i spend to most time sleeping and socializing with friends.However,after the first week i did less sleeping but, more homework and studying.My short term for this week is to started reading a book i have a test on Friday. Finally,i have accomplish most of my short term goals,also i think the time management project had a lot to do with that.The time management project really put things in Black&White for me.I think this will help a lot student stay on track.

  17. The time management assignment helped me to realize just how much I have going on in my daily life. I attempting to balance family, job, and school and have been really feeling the stress of satisfying the three. One area that I find that I come up short is finding time to study and do homework. In tracking my time I find that my day to day activities are pretty consistent and doesn't include a lot of time spent preparing for classes. I strongly feel that the reason that I find it hard to squeeze in homework and study time is because I usually don't like to deviate from my daily routine. I have pretty much taken a "get in where it fits in" approach to study time for class. As the semesters go by and the classes get more difficult this is definitely a mantra that will have to change if I am going to be successful. So that said, my goal was to rearrange my schedule a bit in order to make more time for class preparation. Now...had my daughter not had a science project due that week, this may have worked a lot better. But I remain optimistic that if I find ways to shorten the time spent on some of my required activities (cooking ahead of time, finding easy meal ideas, etc to cut down on food prep time in the evenings) I can find a little more time to devote to class prep and maybe even eliminate some of the stress of my daily balancing act!

  18. This management has made me realize that most of my time is spent doing more social things rather than studing. So my goal is to study more and finish work the same day I receive it. I did manage to accomplish that goal, I had some interruptions because of my little one but I got it done.

  19. My time using the time management showed me that i waste a lot of time sleeping. It also showed me that i need to cut down on my social life. My short term goal for the week is to complete all of my HW and study for my tests. This will effect my time management in the way i spend more of my down time. I came real close to accomplishing my goal but came up a little short. I still need to buckle down a little more than I have in the past.

  20. The time managemengt helped me realize that I need to use my time wisely. The time management showed me how I use my time daily and what I mostly used my time doing is sleeping and working. Something I barely had time doing is study because of the extra activities I was doing.I have made time for me to study and set aside the uneccessary things that can come last. The time management sheet set me on a better time schedule to sleeping,studying,and etc. I feel that my grades have improved because I take time out to study every other day.

  21. I believe time management has help me realize that i was spending to much time watching tv instead of homework.I would wait til the last minute to do alot of things. Time management help me to set a side more time for my studies. as a result i completed all my make up assignments and is on track with my studies. My short term goal was to complete all make up work and i have successfully done so.

  22. In my time management I observed that much of my time I was sleeping. I also observed that I was not studying as much as I thought I was. I was surprised on how quickly time passes when I am watching T.V. My short-term goal was to finish all my homework on time for the week starting September 14, 2009 and ending September 18, 2009. My goal did not have much effect on my time management. I did not have to make many changes on how I managed my time. In order to accomplish my goal I watched less TV and when I got home I went ahead and did my homework. In results I achieved my goal and I was able to turn in my homework on time.
